He was predeceased by: his father O. David Griffin. He is survived by: his mother Edith Jearlean "Jerry" Griffin of Monroe City; his wife Mary Jo "JoJo" Benson Griffin; his sons, Christopher Scott Griffin of Monroe City and Alexander "Alex" Benson Griffin of Monroe City; his grandchild Cortland Shay Griffin; his sisters, Linda Aguon (Dee Lee) and Jeanne Cheek (Kent) of Monroe City; and his parents-in-law, Donnie Benson (Joan), Danny Benson (Brenda), Mark Benson (Debbie), Becky Benson, Jay Benson (Vicki), Jane Vollrath (Mark), Pat Benson (Connie) and Angel Buckman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to the Monroe City United Methodist Church.
