He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Gaubatz and Elizabeth Folkerts Gaubatz. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Miller; his sister LeAnn McBride; his children, Michael Gaubatz (Julie), Julie Ginter (Kevin) and Kenny Gaubatz (Vickie); and his grandson Mason Gaubatz.

In lieu of flowers, Carroll's family has requested donations be directed to the First Baptist Church or a local foodbank.

“Carroll certainly left a great legacy ! He has sooo many friends, and a wonderful loving family! We miss having him here in our Circle View Heights neighborhood in Salisbury. We mention him often in things he did so craftily on our home…our “new addition” to our home has been enjoyed so much! We think of Carroll and Lawrence Weber so much! What a team!
