He was predeceased by: his parents, Clive Summers and Eunice I. Kelly Summers; his sister Lenora Berry Allen; his brother-in-law Carl Berry; his brother Ralph Summers; his sister-in-law Ann; and his significant other Urma Sue Ragar.
He is survived by: his son Austin Lynn Summers; his sister Lavern Boska (Morris) of Madison, Missouri.; his nephews, Ray Berry (Lyssa) of Bethel, Missouri, Michael Berry (Colleen) of Fenton, Iowa, Darrin Summers (Deana) of Taylor and Justin Boska of Columbia, Missouri.; and his stepchildren, Melinda Dexter (Richard), Brenda Shortridge (Jim), Kevin Ragar and Tina Begley.
