Betty Ruth Holland Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Ruth Holland of Monroe City, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 19, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Marvin and Alice Thompson Scott; her husband Henry Lloyd Holland; and her siblings, Robert Clark, Jimmy Ray Scott, Wayne Scott, Charlie Scott, Ella Mae Jones and Mary Alice Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Stevenson (Terry) of Monroe City, MO, Richard Holland of Hunnewell, MO, Vernon Holland (Jessica) of Monroe City, MO, Denise Lewis of Monroe City, MO, Brent Holland of Monroe City, MO, Kent Holland of Monroe City, MO, Darin Hendricks of Monroe City, MO and Terry Cooper of Monroe City, MO; and her sister Clara Belle Scott of Quincy, IL. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the James O'Donnell Life Celebration Home (545 Stoddard St, Monroe City, MO 63456). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the O'Donnell-Thurman Life Celebration Home (545 Stoddard St, Monroe City, MO 63456).
