She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Hudson and Iva Hudson (Morris); her husband Dewey W. Swofford; her son David Kim Swofford; and her grandson Dewey Lee Swofford.
She is survived by: her daughter Gail Pierce of Monett, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Melissa Swofford, Jennifer Stubblefield, Joseph Swofford, Jerry Pierce and Samantha Pierce. She is also survived by four great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
