He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Harley Elwell and Vera Irene Elwell (Fletcher); and his sister Mae Ellen Bradley. He is survived by: his wife Verna Mae Scott; and his children, Rod Elwell (Jill) of Lake Ozark, MO, Deborah Smiley (Dennis) of Broken Arrow, OK and Beckie Briggs (Bob) of Mansfield, TX. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
