He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Mettlach and Rose Mettlach (Stipp); his wife Dorothy Heim (Dot); his siblings, Don, Joe Mettlach and Betty Houston; his parents-in-law, Max and Louise Heim; and his brother-in-law John Heim.
He is survived by: his son Lance; his daughter-in-law Emily; his granddaughters, Maddie, Taylor and Glenna Kraft; his siblings, Linda Stellwagen of Monett and Raymond Mettlach (Cheryl) of Pierce City; his siblings-in-law, Stephanie, Christine Mettlach of Sarcoxie, Richard Heim (Alice), Bob Heim (Deborah) of Monett and Dennis Heim (Anne) of Rogersville; and also Wanda DeGraff of Monett. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions have been suggested to the Whitey Mettlach Memorial Fund in care of the funeral home.
