She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Salazar and Sara Rueda; her husband Mauro Salas; and her siblings, Donaciano Salazar, Braulio Salazar and Concha Salazar.

She is survived by: her children, Francisco Salas (Ignacia) of Monett and Isabel Salas (Lazaro) of Mexico; her brother Alvino Salazar (Edubijes) of Mexico; her grandchildren, Hector Salas, Norma Mendez, Jasmine Salas, Daniel Salas, Lizbeth Salas, Marely Salas and Daleyza Salas; and her great grandchildren, Aydalin Salas, Alison Salas, Eric Mendez, Anjali Mendez, Alicia Huse, Marcos Salas and Karen Salas. She is also survived by extended family and friends.

Memorial donations have been suggested to St. Lawrence Catholic Church.
