It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russell Dean Wimberley of Monett, Missouri, who passed away on July 30, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolland Wimberley and Larna Wimberley (Smallwood); his son Brian Wimberley; and his former wife Barbara Wimberley (Abramovitz). He is survived by: his wife Tracy Hawkins; his children, Nicholas Wimberley of Springfield, MO, Kevin Wimberley (Jennifer) of Bella Vista, AR, John Hammond, Jr., Kelley Hammond of St. Petersburg, FL and Miranda Ohms; his grandchildren, Greyson, Kaylea, Savannah, Sadie, Dawson Wimberley, Korianna, Kamden Wimberley, Claire, Molly and Dillon Ohms; his sister Janet Pruett (Mike) of Pflugerville, TX; his niece Angela St (Chad); his nephew Greg Pruett; and his close friends, Brian, Tarese Schoffstall, Hayden, Chloe, Cora, Jake, Claudia Krebaum, Ezra and Isaac.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions have been suggested to Compassion International (an organization that teaches children around the world about Jesus Christ) or to Gideon's International in care of the funeral home.
