It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ron D. Smith of Monett, Missouri, born in Denison, Iowa, who passed away on June 17, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Smith and Doris Smith (Wright). He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kay Smith; his sons, Scott Smith (Karen) of Monett and Brian Smith (Carrie) of Monett; his grandchildren, Avery Smith, Michael Flummerfelt, Madison Flummerfelt, Dylan Smith and Aidan Smith; his great grandchildren, Pate Flummerfelt, Palmer Flummerfelt and Traveler Sullivan; and his brother Skip Smith of Monett. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions have been suggested to the First United Methodist Church.
