He was predeceased by: his parents, Armond Sidney Carlin and Sibyl Lois Carlin (Browning); his former wife Beverley; his son Kent Thurman; and his siblings, Kirk, Curtis, Barbara Sagehorn and Avonell Avondet.
He is survived by: his friend Tire; his wife Sandra Lyons; his children, Greg Carlin (Hiedi) and Linetta Thurman (Nancy Bader); his grandchildren, Mitchel Carlin (Shelby) and Madison Dickens (Logan); his great grandchildren, Lilly and Presley; and his sister Meg McCaffrey. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions have been suggested to New Site Cemetery.
