He is survived by: his children, Brandon Stanley, Ashley Strunk, Robert Lynn Compton II, Jonathan Ray Compton and Jamie Talley; his former wife Christina Cole; and his siblings, Ruthie Compton of Springfield, David Compton of Springfield and Sherry Compton. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
