He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Baker Cole and Ethel Jane Walton Cole; and his siblings, Ed, Jimmy, Marvin, Virgil, Carl, Laura "Alice", Beulah, Della, Betty, Vera and Barbara.
He is survived by: his significant other Connie Burnett; his children, Ralph (Melissa Cole), Wilburn (Linda Cole), Sharon (Bert Birge), Karen (Joe Jouett) and Flora (Henry Holley); his stepchildren, Pearl Burnett of Monett, Jimmy Burnett of Monett and Ana Bell Burnett of Billings, Missouri; and his brother Richard Cole of Reed Springs, Missouri. He is also survived by twenty two grandchildren, forty six great grandchildren and eleven great great grandchildren.
