She was predeceased by: her parents, Oden Hendrix and Beulah Hendrix (McLeod); her brothers, Marvin Hendrix and C. L. "Pete" Hendrix; and her siblings-in-law, Judy Hendrix, Mary Lou Hendrix, Brian Frank and Jack England.

She is survived by: her husband Otto "Keith" Schwandt; and her siblings, Edwin Hendrix of Exeter, Missouri, Zona England of Wheaton and Betty Frank of Springfield, Missouri. She is also survived by four nieces; seven nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
