He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles P. Britton and Thelma Britton (Taylor); his son Charles Eugene Britton; his grandson Charles Emmett Britton; and his sister Joy MacKinnon.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Jaquetta "Jackie" Block (Ethan) of Wheaton, MO; his children, Terry Britton of El Paso, TX and Kimberly Marie Britton of Canutillo, TX; and his siblings, Slim Britton of Roswell, NM and Mary Ann Gould (Roy) of Meridian, ID. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with several cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lakin Funeral Home (501 N Elm St, Pierce City, MO 65723). The military honors was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Muncie Chapel Cemetery.
