He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leo Schmidt and Janice Schmidt of Monett; his children, Mallory of Webb City and Mitchell of Cassville, Missouri.; the mother of his children Melissa Russell; his siblings, Gary Schmidt (Tonni) of Warrensburg, Michelle Hunter (David Cochran) of Springfield and Tim Schmidt (Natalie) of Monett; his nieces and nephews, Victoria, Grayden Schmidt of Warrensburg, Skylar and Trygg Schmidt of Monett; and his grandparents, Lewis, Mae Bertalotto, Albert and Flora Schmidt. He was also cherished by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
