He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer R. Bruner and Fannie M. Bruner (Reck); his wife Harriett; and his son-in-law Joe Hicks. He is survived by: his children, Gayle Lynn Bruner Hicks of Monett, John Michael Bruner (Agnes) of Monett, Diana Kay Meyer (Bill) of Monett and Lisa Ann Fust (Dennis) of Humansville, MO; his brothers, Dr. John Bruner (Carol), Roger Bruner and Lee Bruner (Vivian) of Springfield, MO; his grandchildren, Jaclyn Gliedt (Jordan), Michael Bruner (Amanda), Andrea Bruner and Harriett Long (Caleb); and his great grandchildren, Cameron Gliedt, Aiden Courtney and Kaiya Gliedt. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions have been suggested to the Monett Community Outreach in care of the funeral home.
