She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Sooter and Martha Sooter (McCoy); her husband Elisha Marbut; her siblings, Roy Sooter, Tom Sooter, Louis Sooter, Ann Ingle, Lorene Marcis, Alvin Sooter, Truman Sooter and May Sooter; and her great grandchild Dalton Heseman.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Marbut (Patricia) of Brownsville, Texas and Shirley Heseman (Dennis) of Monett; and her sister Fern Marbut of Pierce City. She is also survived by three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations for Mary may be made to the Trinity Lutheran School Scholarship Fund.
