She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Weihe and Erna Weihe (Lindauer); her husband Arhart Veith; her siblings, Ruth Langston, Fred, Maurice and Carl Weihe; and her granddaughter Amelia Tauchen Marguet.
She is survived by: her daughters, Helen Tauchen (George) of Chapel Hill, NC and Marilyn Lederer (Charles) of Prairie Village, KS; her grandchildren, Julie Lederer and Robert Tauchen; her great grandchild Scarlett Tauchen; and her siblings, Grace Eads, Roy Weihe (Georgia) and Leland Weihe (Sandy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Because of the risks from the coronavirus outbreak, many may wish to celebrate her life but remain safely at home.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or Monett High School Veith College Scholarship for students in the health sciences.
