She was predeceased by: her parents, Linn Thornton and Geraldine Thornton (Swafford); and her brother Linn V. Thornton. She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Stanfield of Pittsburgh, Kansas; and her brother Earnest Thornton of Monett. She is also survived by four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home (216 2nd St, Monett, MO 65708). A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
