Though Linda Lorene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Linda Lorene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert Earl Thompson; and her sister Mary Ann Kackley. She is survived by: her mother Dolores Thompson (Lautaret) of Monett; her husband Jerry Gaines; and her cousins, Rick and Martha Himebaugh of Monett.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Waymark Church (2581 State Hwy 37, Monett, MO 65708). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
