It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kaye Birkenbach (Monett, Missouri), born in Spalding, Nebraska, who passed away on November 22, 2019, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Starkey and Mildred Starkey (Tomjack); and her brothers, Dean and Jim Starkey. She is survived by: her husband Joseph William; her daughter Cathy Velten (John) of Pierce City, MO; her grandchildren, Joseph Charles Velten and Mackenzie Ann Velten; and her brothers, Frank Starkey and Dan Starkey (Cathy). She is also survived by extended family and friends.

Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Lawrence Catholic School in care of the funeral home.
