He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva James, Sr. and Britta Sperry (Lane); his former wife Judy Everett; his great grandchild Ava Parrigon; and his sister Shirley Sperry.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Isbell; his children, Mitch George (Mary) of Wentworth, MO, Pat Sperry (Marla) of Monett, Jason George of Monett and Julie Parrigon (Gene) of Springfield, MO; his grandchildren, Emily Lorenz, Scott Parrigon (Kaela), Brian George, Derek Parrigon (Shalynne), Brendon George (Kayla), Haley Sperry, Blake Sperry and Cameron George; his great grandchildren, Bellus George and Hannah Parrigon; and his sisters, Dorothy Haywood of Nashville, TN and Joy Bingaman of Springfield, MO. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
Memorial contributions can be made to the First Christian Church or Crosslines of Monett in care of the funeral home.
