He was predeceased by: his former wife Nellie; his friend Mary Adams; and his daughter Sandra Ruth Cooper-Vann. He is survived by: his wife Rose; and his children, Jesse Daniel Cooper and Pricilla Ann Jackson. He is also survived by several step-children, and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
