We bid farewell to Jane James of Monett, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 19, 2025 at the age of 85. Jane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Jane had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Jane may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George G. Mooney and Norma Mae Mooney (Davis); her husband Jerry G. James; her son Justin; and her brother Tom Mooney.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff James (Mechele), Joni Sue Dohmen (Frank) and Julie Wages (Matt); and her sister-in-law Barbara Mooney. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Waymark Church (2581 State Hwy 37, Monett, MO 65708). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Barry County Youth Camp or Compassus of Monett.
