Jack Purdom Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Purdom of Monett, Missouri, born in Exeter, Missouri, who passed away on January 19, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Francis Purdom and Hattie Louise Purdom (Antle); and his daughters, Norma Sue Purdom and Tammy Kay Smallwood. He is survived by: his wife Martha Maxine Risley; his children, Michael Eugene Purdom (Kathryn) of Trinidad, Jacquelyn Louise Schlessman (Jack) of Purdy and Martha Sue Welch (Mike) of Bellingham, WA; his siblings, Larry Purdom (Alice) of Purdy, Barbara Paulus (Gene) of Monett, Weslaco and Carolyn Courtney of Monett; and his grandchildren, Rachel Hamilton, Lane Hamilton, Nick Hamilton, Rebekah Campbell, Wade Purdom, Emily Sookdeo, Lydia Emmanuel, Anna Purdom, Nathan Purdom, Naomi Bush, Miles Purdom, Silas Purdom, Zach Welch, Tiffany Beard and Cassidy Krull. He is also survived by twenty-six great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
