It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Spivy of Monett, Missouri, born in Pierce City, Missouri, who passed away on December 3, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Spivy and Jessie Spivy (Hatcher); his son Stephens Eugene Spivy; and his brother James Spivy. He is survived by: his wife Mary Evelyn Birkenbach; and his sister Patricia Harralson (Richard) of Pleasant Hope, MO. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
