It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Lewis Baxter of Monett, Missouri, born in Lawrence, Kansas, who passed away on October 8, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Baxter and Irene Baxter (Ray); his wife Rita Mackin; and his siblings, Larry Baxter, Jerry Baxter, John Baxter, George Baxter, Steve Baxter, Dorothy Baxter Sigman, Flora Baxter Turkinpile and Arladene "Dede" Mace.
He is survived by: his sons, Chadd Baxter (Ashlee) of Purdy, Christopher Baxter (Jessica) of Republic and Zachary Baxter of Monett, Missouri; and his sisters, Sarah Baxter Hagebusch of Monett and Mary Baxter Coy (Tom) of Pierce City. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
