She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse T. Willis and Barbara Jo Willis (Roddy); and her former spouse Marty Eugene Barten. She is survived by: her husband Randy Lane Carter; her children, Cory Carter of Monett, Eric Carter of Arnold, MO, Tim Barten (Krystal) of Monett, Leann Schmidt (David) of Show Low, AZ and Teresa Shawley (Adam) of Springfield, MO; her siblings, Ed Willis (Gizelle) of Nixa, MO, Carl Willis (Cheryl) of Monett, Billy Willis (Kami) of Monett and Phyllis Stewart (Danny) of Nixa, MO; her sister-in-law Raeanna Zang (Charlie) of Lebanon, TN; and her grandchildren, Vaughn, Zachary Schmidt, Kayli Barten, Willis Shawley, Aaleigha Carter, Theodore Shawley and McKenzie Carter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions have been requested to the Monett Church of Christ in care of the funeral home.
