He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Bill" Schuetz and Billie Schuetz; and his sister Susan. He is survived by: his former wife Kathryn; his children, David Schuetz of Wichita, Dustin Schuetz (Lori) of Arkansas City and Amy Barrientos (Hector) of Monett, MO; and his close friend Buffy.
A memorial has been established in David's name for the Cowley County Humane Society.
