He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Fritz and Renata Fritz of Monett, Missouri.; his brother James; and his former wife Marlene Halstenberg. He is survived by: his wife Anne Fritz; his brother John; his children, Dana (Larry Gawel) of Lincoln and Steven (Tracey) of Olathe; and his grandchildren, Jacob and Ellie.
In lieu of flowers, and in the spirit of Charlie's generosity, the family suggests that memorials be given to the Audubon Society, the American Cancer Society, the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection's Memorial Fund, or another charitable organization.
