He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnett Edwin Waltrip Sr. and Lucy May Waltrip; and his brother Raymond Waltrip. He is survived by: his wife Mary Katherine of Monett; his children, Brandi Armstrong (Rob) of Springfield, Cody Waltrip of Monett, Daysha Watkins (Eddie) of Monett and Ethan Waltrip of Monett; his grandchildren, Nick, Gabby, Dallas, Maryana and Asher; and his siblings, Roy Waltrip, Paul Waltrip, Sue Clevenger, Jack Waltrip and Margaret "Pete" Bandy.
