He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Morris Painter and Leona Esther Painter (Laney); his daughter Lisa Painter; and his siblings, Morris Leon Painter and Margaret Mutrux.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane "Janie" Fleming; his sons, Charles Painter (Pam) of Monett and Mark Painter (Barbie) of Monett; his grandchildren, Robert Painter (Ashley) of Monett, Jared Painter of Japan, Jessy Painter of Raleigh, N. C. and Jadzia Painter of Springfield, MO; his great grandchild Holden Painter; and his sister Carol Thomas (Marvin) of Washburn, MO. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In memory of Bob, memorial contributions have been suggested to St. John's Lutheran Church or to the American Legion Post #91 in care of the funeral home.
