He was predeceased by: his parents, Olen Long and Edwinna Long (Inman). He is survived by: his wife Trix; his daughter Diane Kluhsman (Steve) of Monett; his sister Phyllis Burton of Eagle Rock; and his uncle Wayne Kennedy. He is also survived by two grandsons and two great-grandchildren.
