She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Walker and Mary Walker (Kellam). She is survived by: her son Vernon E. Hopkins, Jr. (Carolin) of Monett, MO; and her grandsons, Douglas Hopkins of Exmore, VA and Stephen Hopkins. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions have been requested to St. George's Episcopal Church, Pungoteague, VA.
