It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jo Thomas of Monett, Missouri, born in Verona, Missouri, who passed away on February 25, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleamon Wesley and Frances Olive Thomas (Carter). She is survived by: her sister Vera McCord of Verona; her nephews, Rick McCord (Cathy) of Joplin and Jerry McCord (Jean) of Fort Worth, Texas; and her niece Vonda Kissinger of Verona.
Memorial donations for Betty may be made to the New Liberty Church or the Calton Cemetery.
