She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesus Tijerina and Maria Zamora Tijerina; and her children, Isabel and Juan Jaime Capuchina. She is survived by: her husband Alvaro Cardenas; her children, Cesar, Leticia, Luis, Norma, Rojelio and Luserito; and her grandchildren, Isabel, Vella, Kelton, Raliegh, Rhys, Jedrek, Jagger, Tali, Clara, Matheo, Zaya, Estrellita and Angel.
