He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Carter and Norma Jean Carter (Keech). He is survived by: his children, Aleah Carter of Fort Smith and Pryor Jacob Carter of Fort Smith; his siblings, Vernon Cloud of Fort Smith, Joe Christian (Barbara) of Verona, James Taylor of Fort Smith, Glenda Verner of Tulsa and Tina Woods (Rocky) of Roland, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Nick Massengale and Julianna Valencia.
