He was predeceased by: his parents, Linton C. Vomund and Pauline Vomund (Harrison); his brother Larry L. Vomund; and his nephews, Jared C. Martin and Alan Carter.
He is survived by: his son Kyle Vomund (Ashley) of Mexico; his siblings, Joseph Vomund (Paula) of Martinsburg, Carl Vomund (Rose) of Martinsburg, Paul Vomund (Cindy) of Moberly and Janette Vomund of Fulton; his sister-in-law Corless Vomund of Martinsburg; and his grandchildren, Destiny, Kaiden and Anya. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
