She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenda Groves (Boatman) and Elgin Roy Groves Jr.; her brothers, Roy and Gary True; and her granddaughter Leaha.
She is survived by: her husband Scott Avery; her daughters, Charlene Abrams of Harrisburg and Meyra Wyant of Moberly; and her grandchildren, Blake, Kaylynn, Devin, Brayden and Hayden.
