Robert left this world on January 23, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Sue Turner; his daughter Linda Kay Burton; his grandson Eric Prather; his brother Carl Briscoe; his son-in-law Steve Burton; and his in-laws, Clarence and Elvira Turner.
He is survived by: his children, Glenda Prather (Bill) of Cairo, Bob Briscoe (Robin) of Moberly and John Briscoe (Betty) of Moberly; his grandchildren, Paul Prather, Kimmy Bailey, Tessa Rivera, Becky Riles, James Burton, Shawn Burton, Tommy Prather, Tracy Carney, Ben Briscoe, John Briscoe, Sam Briscoe, Jesse Briscoe and Kyle Briscoe (Cody Briscoe); and his sisters, Judy James (Bill) of Moberly and Jane Howard of Middle Grove. He is also survived by 25 Great grandchildren, 20 Great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel (1520 E Rollins St, Moberly, MO 65270). A celebration of life was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
