Philip Mathis Obituary

We bid farewell to Philip Mathis of Moberly, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 10, 2024 at the age of 80. Philip touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert R Mathis and Larue Stacy Mathis; and his son Lee Monroe Mathis. He is survived by: his wife Marjory; his daughters, Molly Ann and Susan Larue; his grandson Ryan (Bianca Manning); his great grandchild Kehlani Marie; and his brother Michael Robert. He is also survived by other grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel (1520 E Rollins St, Moberly, MO 65270). A masonic service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery.
