She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward Davis and Nannie M. Davis (Jones); her husband Roy Lee Chapman; her son Tim Whitehead; and her daughter-in-law Antoinette Chapman.
She is survived by: her children, Troy L. Chapman (Shelia) of Fayette, Carla Tigue of Columbia and Carlos Chapman of Kansas City; her daughter-in-law Regina Whitehead of Des Moines, Iowa; her grandchildren, Monique Chapman, Keenon Chapman, Lyna Williams-Whitehead, Christina Hughes, Vencel Tigue Jr., Marcus Tigue, Erica Chapman, Carlos Villa-Chapman Jr. and Nevaeh Chapman; and her great grandchildren, London Kariuki, Avah Proudie, Xander Proudie, Glenn Ganaway III and Jadaya Poindexter.
She took great pride in her craft and her volunteer work and created Hannah's Closet in Moberly, where she would take clothing that department stores couldn't sell, and she would fix them and then donate them to school children who were in need.
