He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Leon and Elizabeth Ethel Coffman (Morris); his brother-in-law Rick Buxton; and his granddaughter Emily Rose. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Ann Coffman of Moberly; his children, Bryan Coffman (Shirlee) of Olathe, KS., Angela Wilson (John) of Tyler, TX., Richard Coffman (Malana) of Stillwell, KS. and David Coffman (Darla) of Clay Center, KS.; his grandchildren, Tyler Wolfe (Brittany), Brylie Stupart (Chevon), Rose Coffman, James Coffman, Eryn Wilson, Haley Coffman, Elizabeth Coffman (Libby), Cooper Coffman, Spencer Coffman, Anderson Coffman (Andy) and Miller Coffman; and his great grandchild Micah. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and brother and sister in laws.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lewis Coffman Memorial Fund in care of the family.
