He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Ward Brittingham and Deloris Miller (Mott); and his parents-in-law, Jim and Mae Wilt. He is survived by: his wife Donna Wilt; his children, Christy Bates (Chris) of Moberly, MO and Christopher Brittingham (Lacey) of Columbia, MO; his granddaughters, Madison and Mallory Bates; his brother Mike Brittingham (Jill) of Macon, MO; and his mother-in-law Linda Wilt of Quincy, IL. He is also survived by numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home-Shelbina (401 S Center St, Shelbina, MO 63468). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to his granddaughters' college funds.
