Though Gerald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gerald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin A. Meyr and Doris Elaine Meyr (Wylie). He is survived by: his children, Ethan Meyr of Moberly, MO, Emilie Meyr of Guilford, CT and Benjamin Meyr (Crystal) of Jefferson City, MO.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1075 E Urbandale Dr, Moberly, MO 65270). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family would ask in lieu of flowers for donations to be made to the Zion Lutheran Church of Moberly, Missouri or Ducks Unlimited for habitat conservation in honor of Gerald Meyr.
