Gerald L. Orr Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerald L. Orr of Moberly, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 6, 2025 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald L. Orr to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James William "Dub" and Thelma Orr, Sr. (Moore); and his brothers, Jim Orr and Jay Moore. He is survived by: his sons, Jason Orr (Marci) of Mexico and Aaron Orr (Dianna) of Hallsville; his grandchildren, Cooper Orr, Roselynn Orr, Parker Orr and Sophia Orr; his brother William A. "Bill" Orr (Jadeania) of Moberly; his siblings-in-law, DuNard Cooper of St. Peters, Barbara Taylor (Columbia), Carol Jackson (Moberly), Angie Govero (Farmington) and Linda Orr; and his pets, Thorne, Auggie and Leroy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel (1520 E Rollins St, Moberly, MO 65270). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Funeral Services and Military Honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Stray Rescue of St. Louis, or the American Heart Association would be appreciated.
