It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Lorraine Stone of Moberly, Missouri, born in Kearney, Nebraska, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence "Bud" Mason and Lumya Mason (Tate); her spouse Otha "Jack" Stone; her children, Jacqueline Thornhill, Jennifer Sullivan and Anthony Stone; and her sisters, Dorothy Endicott, Clarissa "Tiny" Anders and Beverly Tinpenny.
She is survived by: her son Otha J. Stone, II (Patty) of Rocheport; her sons-in-law, Jerry Sullivan of Sturgeon and Romie Thornhill of Sturgeon; her sister-in-law Cleo Stone of Hallsville; and her grandchildren, Lucinda Levings (Andy) of Columbia, Jeffrey Sharp of Columbia, Daniel Thornhill (Yom) of Columbia, Jessica Stafford of Sturgeon, Kendra Byrum (Alexander) of Cumberland, MD, Krystal Harrison (William) of Louisiana, MO and Otha J. Stone III (Brooke) of Pensacola, FL. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews.
