He was predeceased by: his wife Billie Jean Newcomb; his brother Walter Ray Newcomb, Jr.; his sons, Stephen Corbin and Rodney Newcomb; his stepson Kent Schones; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Chason and Justin Schones.
He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Ruth Newcomb Adams of Oklahoma and Jane LaRue Newcomb Hightower of Oklahoma; and his great grandchildren, Abigail Chason and Corbin Chason. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
