She was predeceased by: her husband Monty Grant, Jr.; her brother Richard (Dickie) of Washington; her grandson Wendell Davis (Lil'man); her aunt Anna of Washington; and her stepfather Charles Pettigrew.
She is survived by: her children, Tonya Y Reed of Phoenix, AZ, Demetrius Reed (Sabra Zaner), Anika (Raymond Hayes), Deniece Gilmore and Keyatta Gilmore (Antonio Hayes); her grandchildren, Dareon, Demetrius (Meechie), Marques, Chima, Demmetraus Nia (Meechus), Nashea, Anyja, Aneris, Noelle, Myleah and Semaj; her sisters, Sandra Smith of Columbia, Patricia Jackson of Columbia and Kim Fugate (Timothy) of Moberly; and her pet Ralphie. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family.
